Our special guest was Flower City Union assistant coach and Rochester Lancers Wall of Famer Nelson Cupello, who spoke on the team's tough 3-2 loss to Michigan on Saturday, the road match on Wednesday morning in Detroit and Saturday's home match against Savannah on Rochester Soccer History night.
Front Row Soccer's Michael Lewis, the author of "Alive and Kicking, the Incredible but True Story of the Rochester Lancers" and "Still Alive and Kicking - The Story of the 21st Century Rochester Lancers" (go to rochesterlancersbook.com), talked about NYCFC and the NY Red Bulls posting important wins last week to pull into playoff contention and whether Lionel Messi will play in Wednesday's US Open Cup final between Inter Miami and Houston.
