    We reviewed 2019 and the 2010’s decade on our final show the year. Our special guest was Rochester Lancers owner, Soccer Sam Fantauzzo, who talked about the return of the Lancers in 2011, the playoffs for indoors and outdoors in 2019 and the current MASL1 season, including the 2 home matches this weekend against Florida and Harrisburg.

    Our special guest was Rochester Lancers coach Doug Miller, who announced that he will be the first head coach of the new Bryant and Stratton Men’s Soccer team, who will play at Glacier Ridge Sports Park in the Fall of 2020. Doug also talked about the upcoming matches against Harrisburg and Baltimore this weekend and how is motivating the team despite their winless record.

Sam also talked about the game-day staff for this season, the experience the fans can expect at Lancers matches and the NPSL winter meetings in Nashville.

     

    Dick Howard reviewed the Euro 2020 qualifying matches this past weekend and the 4-1 win by the US Men over Canada on Friday.     Our guest host was the visionary who founded this show in 1994 and saved pro soccer in the US in 1970 by moving the Rochester Lancers and Washington Darts into the NASL, the former Chairman of the Board of the original Rochester Lancers, Charlie Schiano.

Our special guest was the captain of the 1970 Lancers, Davie's roommate with the Lancers and fellow Scotsman Charlie Mitchell who gave stories about Davie and his love of soccer and music.

     

    Dick Howard was friends with Davie for over 50 years and shared his memories, including how Davie was youth teammates with Sir Alex Ferguson and whom Alex thought was one of the finest youth players Scotland ever had. Dick also talked about Man City beating Leicester City to get them closer to the EPL title and previewed the second legs of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League semi-finals.

Felix was an announcer for the NASL Rochester Lancers and owner of the ASL Rochester Flash and amateur soccer teams in Rochester. Our special guests who gave their memories of Felix were the Chairman of Board of the NASL Lancers, Charlie Schiano, and the 2 time NASL MVP and Felix's brother-in-law Carlos Metidieri.
